Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for choosing Colorado Exotics for your feathered companions. We take pride in providing you with happy and healthy parrots. If, however, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist you.

Returns

We understand that circumstances may change, and we want you to be content with your parrot companion. You have 14 Days from the date of purchase to return an item. To be eligible for a return, please ensure that:

1. Your parrot is in good health and free from illness or injury.
2. Your parrot is not exhibiting aggressive behavior due to improper handling or care.
3. You have retained the original receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Upon receiving your returned parrot, our avian experts will conduct a thorough health and behavior assessment. If your parrot is deemed healthy and suitable for rehoming, we will proceed with the refund process. Please note the following:

A restocking fee may apply to cover the cost of health checks, food, and care provided during your parrot’s stay with us.
Refunds will be issued through the original payment method. Please allow 3 Days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider’s policies.

Exchange

If you wish to exchange your parrot for another available companion, we will gladly assist you in finding the right match. Any price difference between the parrots will be either refunded or charged accordingly.

Shipping

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
